You're sitting at your desk, or lying still in bed, and you feel it — a small, involuntary flicker somewhere across your back. Maybe it's a fluttering knot beside your spine, maybe a wider muscle gives a little jump or a brief spasm. It stops, then it comes back. Let's take the pressure down right away: an isolated twitching back, with no other symptoms, is one of the most common and most harmless things we hear about.
